Q. How do I avoid overheating?
A. Make sure you are not using a motor with lower turns than is recommended. You may also be over-geared or be shifting from forward to reverse too much, this can put more load on the controller than it will handle. Try using a smaller pinion to reduce the current draw, this will also give you longer run time on a charge.
