Feather
The following questions relate to Feather Receivers.A. The feather was designed for use in small park flyers and indoor planes.
A. The antenna is 42 inches (1050mm). If you are replacing the antenna, make sure to use a multi-strand wire of about 28 gauge.
A. The feather uses a single conversion crystal. The part number is 66472xx (xx= channel number). To tell if your crystal is single conversion or not, look at the pull tab. If the tab has green end and the letters 'RA' on it, then it is a genuine Hitec single conversion crystal.
A. The negative shift version (20272) will work with Hitec and Futaba transmitters. The positive shift version (20372) will work with JR and Airtronics transmitters.
A. Looking at the top of the receiver, the signal line from the servo should be at the bottom of the receiver and the negative line is toward the top.
A. Channel assignments are set by the transmitter being used. In the case of Hitec, channel 1 is ailerons, channel 2 is elevator, channel 3 is throttle and channel 4 is rudder.
A. The battery can be plugged into any available slot.
A. If you are using an ESC with a Hitec transmitter, plug it into the throttle channel (ch 3).
