Event Support Requests

Event Support Request Guidelines

Approximately 1000 Clubs, Groups and Organizations within many disciplines of the R/C Hobby will request event support from Hitec/Multiplex throughout the year.

To provide us with the information we need to accurately evaluate your groups event support requirements, review the Event Support Criteria below before sending in your request via e-mail or mail. The earlier your request is received, the better chance it has to be selected for support.

For program administrative reasons we WILL NOT consider any requests for event support received within 30 days of the event, nor any requests with a PO Box as a ship to address. 

The following information is valuable, not just for your request made of Hitec/Multiplex, but of any request made from any company within the Hobby industry.

Support Criteria:

A cover letter or note AND an Event Flyer explaining; 

  1. What type of event is being held, please include a flyer of the event or some sort of additional source of information, such as a website, if possible to add credibility.  
  2. How many contestants and spectators are expected.
  3. Provide the exact date and location of the event. If your event is a rally or occurs more than once a year you will have to resubmit a sponsorship request for each event. 
  4. Detailed history of the event, including how long it’s been held. Please be as specific as possible and include as much detail in regards to the event and its history.
  5. If product is donated, explain how it will be used. If your request is for goods to be used in a raffle, please explain what type of raffle it will be. Hitec/Multiplex is especially interested in supporting raffles benefiting the volunteers, or helpers at events.
  6. Will there be any media coverage, such as magazine or news, of the event
  7. For flying events a copy of the “AMA Sanction” documents should be included. This is not necessary, but adds credibility to the event.
  8. If your club has a permanent mailing address please provide it along with a Non-PO BOX shipping address for our records.
  9. Provide accurate contact information including an email address and phone number if possible.
  10. Please note exactly what competition level your event is, i.e. local, regional, or national. If your event is regional or national please be very specific in regards to how your event qualifies to be placed in those categories. If your event is a semi-final or a qualifying round, please state what event it is a precursor to.

Please Note:

Unless your groups event is a “National” level event, we regret we are unable to send any R/C product. However if your groups request qualifies under our support criteria and is selected to receive a package from us, it will contain a quantity of shirts, hats, stickers, product catalogs and other promotional items.
